Itinerary

Day 01: Munnar

  • Drive to Silent Valley Estate 15 Kms
  • Trek starts from Silent Valley Estate at 14.00 hrs
  • 3 hrs trek, thru tea plantation
  • Camp at Land’s end surrounded by grandis plantations in front of the camp thick shola forest

Day 02: Rhodo Valley

  • Trek thru to Meesapulimala – 2nd highest peak in South India – 2663 Mtrs. (8790 feet) MSL
  • Camp at Rhodo Valley – 2325 Mtrs
  • 7 to 8 hrs Hard Trek starts at 9 am (Kurinji shrubs, grassy hills and some grandis plantations)

Day 03: Munnar

  • 1 hour trek to Silent Valley, thru grass lands, pine forests, grandis plantations and tea plantations.
  • Drive to Munnar.

 

Inclusions

Inclusions:

  • All meals on jungle plan
  • Service of English speaking guide from local community
  • Camping gears including sleeping bag, tent and mattress.

  • Transportation
